Question: Grinding noise from front differential?

I put my jeep in park, and put my transfer from '2 hi', to '4 hi'. Once i do this and start driving, there is a grinding noise coming from what seems to be my front differential. I dont drive in excess of 25mph in '4 hi' but there is a definite grinding, especially whenever i make turns. Any tips?

Front differential driveshaft is worn out. Expect 300 to 400 in parts if you replace it yourself.
