Question: How do I get cigarette smoke out of the interior?

I don't smoke, and the smell is driving me nuts. :-(

Smoke is a tough one, as it will live on in your HVAC system, long after you have removed all traces from the carpeting, seats and headliner. Unless you are feeling really ambitious, I would leave this one for the pros as there are chemicals that they can use to flush out the vents and steam clean your interior.

Use 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water. Put in a spray bottle. Spray on and rub in but donot over wet fabric. Let dry. Unroll windows air out car. Check to see if smelly. If so repeat. Once smell subsides spray on your new freshener like freebreeze or whatever you like. I had to do this with a stank musty cigarrette car interior. A total of 4 spray downs with the vinegar mix and a few freebreeze afterwards and it is gone.

I had the same problem. I found this little bottle of spray that will get any smell out of your car and home. It cost about $5 its called OZIUM its not to cover up the smells, it gets ride of them. I sprayed it in my car and let the air run for about 5 mins. I than shut my car off and sprayed it again, I closed the doors and let sit over night . When I got in my car the next morning it smelled like a new car, no more smoke smell. let me know if this works for you.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work.
