Question: I have a 99 chevy truck that has a window that works when it

My truck window will not work on hot days during the summer here in Florida. I have not taken the motor out as of yet because you have to drill the rivits out. Any suggestions what might cause thie. I have tapped on the motor thinking it might be the brushes.

There is a heat sensitive overload in the motor. It is there to keep the motor from catching fire. When the motor gets hot, from overwork or hot weather, the overload will not let the motor function. The only way to fix this is the motor. Its a fairly easy fix for even an amateur. Just make sure you support the window when you pull the motor, otherwise it will fall. Good luck.
