Question: my gauges are not working on my 99 jeep any advice

the light work fine(parking brake light, airbag ect. the radio also stopped working all fuses are fine.

try this: turn lights on, start motor then turn rear window defogger switch on and off and see what happens

When multiple items stop working then look to see what's common about them all. In your case I would think the ground is the only thing that's common. If you don't wanna remove your entire dash then try to remove a single component (something easy to get to), like the stereo or temp guage and ground the item to the battery with a test wire (make sure the power is also plugged in and the engine is running). If the guage begins to work then you know your problem. Now you have to find out where the problem is.

I have a 98 Tj and had the same problem. There is a connector on the back of your insturment cluster that probably has a broken tab on it like mine. pull the cluster and check that. when mine goes out i just smack the top of the dash and they come back on. I have heard of a few people having the same problem and thats what it is.
