Question: why does the driver's side door not lock?

I locked my truck with the remote "clicker" Sunday night. I came out on Monday morning and used the remote again. It unlocked all the doors except the driver's side. I unlocked it manually and got in. I then tried to lock it with the lock switch from the inside. All the other doors unlocked and locked but the driver's side door won't. It is not just with the remote, it is also with the lock button on the inside.

the little gizmo that pulls the pin to lock or unlock the door must be shot. because it doesn't effect the others

i have the same issue. i have a 2008 silverado and my door locks wont plunge up or down like there suppose to. gets old real fast
